White Muscat

A vine of very ancient origins, dating back to the eastern Mediterranean basin.

It is widespread throughout the Italian peninsula.

In Piedmont, especially in the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Alessandria, it is one of the most widely cultivated white grape varieties and produces both still white wines and sparkling and straw wines.
